Eric Omondi has shed some light on his relationship with Maribe, though not entirely. The comedian has said he is still in good terms with Jacque despite speculations that they don’t even talk.
There have always been speculations that Eric Omondi is the father to Maribe’s child but he has never openly admitted. During an interview with Radio Jambo, he opened up about how he met her.
I met Jacque Maribe when we were both employees at Radio Africa Group, and our friendship grew from there. We even went for a date at Sarit Centre and had some tea. Since then our friendship has been so tight.

Eric further clarified that they have always been friends ever since and that he even supported her while she was in jail.
