Popular political party kicked out after failing to pay Sh400, 000 rent - 8 months ago, 13 June 07:32

Have the coffers of one of the popular political parties run dry? 

This is the question some members of the outfit themselves after their party closed down its main headquarters in a leafy suburb.

For months now, party members have been meeting in a hotel in a county that neighbours Nairobi, with the party boss also conducting press briefings at the same venue. 

A little birdie has whispered to The Grapevine that the party may have been compelled to relocate from its previous head office after failing to raise Sh400,000 monthly rent required.
