Andreas Pereira has broken ranks to discuss the training-ground spat between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba.

Mourinho and Pogba’s relationship has been under the microscope at Manchester United this season, with the latter having been removed as “the second captain”.

Soon after that decision was made, the manager and player were captured in what seemed to be an intense disagreement during United training.

Pereira, who saw the situation firsthand, has confirmed what we all suspect: that it was over an Instagram video Pogba had posted during the club’s Carabao Cup defeat to Derby.

“We were winning the game 1-0 at the time of the video,” he told UOL.

“Then we lost the game, and people said that Pogba posted later. But he posted before.

“The manager thought that Pogba had posted later. He asked him why that had happened. There was a mood about it. These things were out here in England.
