Five suspects due in court over exam irregularities in Nakuru - 3 months ago, 22 Nov 11:46

Five people from Kuresoi North Sub County in Nakuru are expected to be arraigned in court over exam irregularities.

They include Kenneth Bett (St Peters Chesirikwa Secondary principal), Michael Korir (invigilator), Shadrack Tanui (supervisor), Hilary Kiprotich (class teacher) and Mercy Chepkurui (student).

Kuresoi North OCPD Hesbon Kadenge said they were arrested after area residents tipped off the police.

He added that they have launched investigations into the matter and the five will be arraigned before a Molo Court on Thursday.

While releasing the KCPE results on Monday, Education CS Amina Mohamed said four candidates who were arrested over impersonation have had their results cancelled.
