Wakanda Fever Is Not Over & These Kibera Kids Just Got The Treat Of A Lifetime - ZUMI

This movie, given its relatable cast, was bound for success ever since it was announced and we are proud to be Africans because of it. Celebrities and influential people alike are pooling resources together to make sure that financially disadvantaged children have a chance to experience greatness. In Kenya, Lupita together with her mother ensured that 2000 school kids got the chance to watch the movie on big screen. Now, almost a month after Black panther premiered, children in Kibera have gotten the opportunity to visit Wakanda. Marco Louis, Senior Cosmetics artist at M.A.C Sub Saharan Africa together with International makeup artist Nallah Sangare brought joy to the students by making sure they looked Wakanda ready for the movie. They gave them a tribal makeover that made them look like residents straight out of the fictional African nation. According to one of the organizers, this initiative does not end in Kibera: LITTLE WAKANDANS • Beautiful hearted @tatugatere @mundumwiu@tasha_mq @marco_louis @nallahsangare and many more took a group of kids from Peace Junior academy in Kibra to watch bleck penthee aka black panther. This week the plan is to take kids from Korogocho for the same experience.
