Teenage girl makes grand entrance at prom in a coffin - PHOTOS - Nairobi News

A teenage girl shocked the online community after arriving at her school’s prom in a coffin.

The girl, Alexandrea Clark, arrived flashing a bright smile as she lay the a coffin with her eyes closed. She had a well done makeup on the face and wore a black dress with gold embellishments on the top area.

The pictures of her grand entrance at Americus Sumter High School in Georgia, United States, have gone viral on social media.

Her schoolmates and onlookers were astounded by the girl’s braveness, some digging out their smartphones to capture the rare moment.

In an interview with 11ALIVE,  Alexandrea said her vision for her grand entrance was two years in the making.

“I started volunteering with the funeral home, and I started liking it,” Alexandrea said.

“This is just what I do, and this is my career that I plan on doing and I love what I do,” she explained.

“I love being around people and helping others. And it’s not to disrespect anybody.”

Alexandrea has been working at the West Mortuary in Americus for the last two years.

Her ambition is to become a funeral director and has already received phone calls from funeral directors in Georgia offering her internships job.
