President Uhuru Kenyatta has been told to ensure officers involved in the Sh10 billion National Youth Service saga are investigated and prosecuted.
NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi yesterday said it was time Uhuru stopped issuing threats and instead cracked the whip on corruption.
"This scandal speaks of a blatant and deftly executed theft of public funds by people who should be custodians of public interest,” Musalia said in a press statement.
He said reports on the heist at the NYS were heartbreaking given they came just three years after another scandal was reported at the institution.
"All the officers involved must immediately step down for investigation into the matter,” Mudavadi said.
