He pulled back after I slept with him
I met a guy four months ago and we started going out. The first two months were great. We went out at least twice every week. I thought he wanted a serious relationship so I agreed to sleep with him. After two months he started dodging me. He doesn’t ask to see me anymore and doesn’t call or text. When I contact him he seems withdrawn. I don’t know what to do because he hasn’t broken up with me either. Esther
You are being unrealistic. He hasn’t broken up with you because he is hoping that he will just ignore you until you get the hint that he is not interested in the affair. He is a fox and a coward. Forget about him.
He’s a flirt, it hurts but I can’t tell him to stop
Hi, I’m a 26-year-old lady and my boyfriend is 29. He is friendly and has a lot of friends, most of them women. I don’t have a problem with him having a lot of female friends but he is too friendly with them and I have seen him flirting with them at times. I don’t think it is appropriate for him to do such things because he has a girlfriend but I haven’t raised a finger because I don’t want to be the annoying type. What should I do?Elsie
It is sad how women put up with bad behaviour out of fear of being labelled ‘annoying girlfriend’. If something bothers you, you have every right to speak up. If you feel like your boyfriend’s behaviour is unbearable, you should definitely speak out.
He won’t let go of his old flame
My boyfriend and I have been fighting about his ex-girlfriend throughout our three-year relationship. He cheated on me with her but apologised, promising it won’t happen again. I did not take his word for it so I created a fake Facebook account, added her (because she had blocked me) and found out they have been hanging out behind my back. I confronted him but he said they are just friends. Should I leave him? Sharon
Yes. He is a liar and possibly a cheater. You know it is time to let go when you have to create fake social media accounts to see what he has been up to. He clearly cannot be trusted.
Stingy wealthy boyfriend makes me think of my past
I am 23 and my boyfriend is 32. We have been dating for two months. I am in college and frustrated because he doesn’t help me financially. My last boyfriend was generous and would help me settle bills and even gave me money to use as I pleased. My current boyfriend doesn’t give me anything even though he is well-off. Should I say something? Brenda
You have been dating for two months and you want to ask him to be giving you money? Go ahead if you want to look like a seasoned gold digger. He doesn’t owe you anything. ...
