Tottenham have announced that Harry Kane will return to training next month after sustaining an ankle injury against Bournemouth. The England striker will be fit to represent England in the World Cup, despite claims to the contrary on Tuesday night. Spurs have announced that a scan has shown that Kane has damaged lateral ligaments in his right ankle. This could actually be excellent news for England as Kane was clearly burned out by the time he got to Euro 2016 after a full season with Tottenham. TEAM NEWS: Preliminary assessments have confirmed that @HKane has damaged lateral ligaments in his right ankle. The England striker sustained the injury following a challenge in our 4-1 win over Bournemouth on Sunday and is expected to return to First Team training next month. pic.twitter.com/q4sOSJHhPT — Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) March 14, 2018
