Kenya has two friendly matches against Swaziland and Equatorial Guinea in what presents newly appointed coach Sebastian Migne with his first major task as Harambee Stars boss.

Stars will host Swaziland on May 25 before taking on Equatorial Guinea three days later with both matches serving as build-ups for the June 1-10 Hero Intercontinental Cup in Mumbai, India.

Kenya is lined up to play hosts India, New Zealand and Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) in a round robin format ,with the top two teams in the group facing off in the final.

The Frenchman contacted his maiden training on Tuesday at Camp Toyoyo ahead of the two friendlies and the session saw 25 local based players audition under the newly appointed coach.

Unattached former Gor Mahia captain Musa Mohammed and Eric Ouma, who have previously made appearances for the senior national team have both been included.

On Thursday, the national team made a marginal gain in the latest World FIFA Rankings, climbing two places to 111th from 113th despite an April of inactivity.

Stars opponents are ranked below in the latest FIFA standings with Equitorial Guinea occupying 145th place while Swaziland is 14 places above.

After the Intercontinental Cup competition, Stars will host Ghana in Nairobi in September before tackling Ethiopia away and home in October for the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification.

The team will then face Sierra Leone in November and conclude their qualification schedule with an away clash against Ghana in March.
