Vanessa Mdee Denied Access To Government Building For Wearing A Miniskirt

Tanzanian songtress Vanessa Mdee is very frustrated after being denied access to a government building because of her dress-code. They couldn’t even let her in because she is a celeb?
Mdee aired out her frustrations in a series of tweets. She said it was uncalled for the security guards to deny her entry to the building just because she was in a miniskirt.
According to her, this was wrong very wrong. She also suggested that this kind of treatment stems from objectifying women:
Only in Tanzania is my skirt which is at my knees too short to enter a public corporate building. This is incredible.
Sawa mimi mnasema navaa vibaya, poa. Lakini how do you explain all the other cases and women responding to this post. Kuna tatizo. Na halipo kwenye mavazi. Lipo kwenye treatment based on objectifying the woman.
Many of her fans agreed with her, stating that women were suffering in silence. Anyway, Mdee was eventually granted entry to the building after she made a call to the person she was going to see. He came to pick her from the basement of the building by himself.
What are your thoughts about this kind of treatment?
