The Smart Money Woman is in town, ladies and she has a message for all the girlies who want to live large and finance their own lavish lifestyles. Arese Ugwu, author of the popular Smart Money Woman book has been booked and busy doing her book tour and of course this Nigerian queen had to make a welcome stop in Kenya! Branding Beyond Boarders CEO, Nana Wanjau, put together a powerful breakfast seminar, dubbed Millenials And Money, with a panel that boasted boss-babe-goals and renowned real estate guru, Solomon Wangwe.

Liz Ntonjira and Carole Mandi of True Love Magazine were part of the panel and each had an empowering message for the audience. Today we will be sharing with you girlies, a few of Arese Ugwu’s take home points on how we, as women, can be the ultimate boss-bish-goals and of course, financially liberated.

The Smart Money Woman learnt from experience that the people you surround yourself with can make or break you. In her words, “Your network is only your network if you’re able to leverage it to create opportunity or remove obstacles.”

It is never as easy, or as flashy as it may look on Instagram. Smart Money Woman Arese assured us ladies that there will definitely be obstacles along the way, but your resilience during such times is what would determine the outcome. As she said, “A general does not earn his stripes by sitting out battles.”

“Privilege is a blessing and at the same time, a curse. A curse in the sense that it lures you into thinking that because you have never lacked, you will always have.” Enough said!

We wish we could have experienced a lot more of Arese Ugwu’s financial wisdom, but we are super excited to have our hands on her amazing, best-seller book! The Smart Money Woman book is available in Kenya and you definitely want to get your hands on it! Call  +254 702 048 055 and you will be sorted out ASAP! Thank us later!
