These Kenyan Designers Will Slay The Hell Out Of Your #ThriftSocial Outfit!

Last week, we shared with you guys some fabulous kitenge inspiration for the made-in-Kenya-themed Thrift Social event going down on the 24th of June, and today we are here with a hot list of Kenyan designers who will bring your outfit vision to life. This list features both upcoming and established designers, all of which have built a name for themselves as creative, stylish and professional. Feel free to thank us later, girlies! 😉
Kicking off our hot list is none other than Kahaari! This designer boasts a stylish and sophisticated ready to wear collection (last minute shoppers, this one’s for you!) and their Zahara coat dress is to die for! It’s perfect for this here and there weather and would pair beautifully with a pair of chic sneakers, for a comfy slay.
Speaking of the bone-chilling Nairobi weather, bomber jackets are a must have for the June-July cold and the fact that they come in different fabrics means that the styling opportunities are endless! Amanda Fashions definitely got it right with this one and just like Kahaari, their designs are ready to wear.
We are currently obsessed with comfortable and chic outfits and these Ikwetta slides are the perfect way to cement your Thrift Social outfit! Kenyan designers are constantly updating their designs with the most fabulous fabrics and styles and if this is not proof of how far we are going, we don’t know what is!
… it can only be magic! Mercie The Designer is one of the up and coming Kenyan designers who are taking fashion, creativity and style to a whole new level! It’s the simplicity of the shift dress that we love so much and the waist tie is perfect to give the impression of a smaller waist and fuller hips. 😉
There you have it, ladies! Which of these designers will you be calling up ASAP? Drop us a comment and let us know your thoughts!
