Well, of course, you may not be comparing yourself to Jay Z and let’s be real, even if you’re toiling for the rest of your life, what are the odds you will ever get to his level of success. This doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything you can learn from the successful rapper. Heck, we ourselves are planning to steal some of his success tips. There’s a reason his net worth is estimated at $810 million. Yes, dollars my friend! And no, he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He has worked so hard to get to where he is now and these are 5 success tips he swears by. He may not have made it to where he is now if he had not believed in himself. Before starting his own label, Roc-A-Fella in 1996 with his partners Damon Dash and Kareem Burke, he had numerous failed attempts at getting signed. It was all uphill from here after his debut album gave him the recognition he needed.   You may not want to associate with something because it’s not well recognized and that might be the mistake you’re making. Jay z has never been afraid to partner with brands that may seem ‘small’ to others and not once has he regretted it.   He has used companies like Budweiser and Live Nation in the past and up to date has relations with the two, even ending up signing deals with them up to date. What this teaches us is to foster relationships and keep those relationships because you do not know how they will affect you in the long run.   A good reputation may take years to build and seconds to destroy.
