Was Ben Pol high on something?

The singer who is known for hits such as Muziki and Phone was recently spotted in heels. Clearly, these Tanzanian singers aren’t done shocking us with their stunts.

Ben Pol isn’t a stranger to scandals. Just recently, Ray C called him out for performing one of her songs on stage without her permission. In his defence he said was that he was just appreciating good music and that she misunderstood a lot.

Now, he is blowing up the internet with his heels.

By the way, did you know that high heels are not all that safe? Research has shown correlation between the height of a heel and the amount of injury that results. Specifically, high heels can affect the amount of tension present in the paraspinal muscles, or muscles running up the back along the spine.

Some more specific instances of the numerous negative side effects of wearing heels include ankle sprains, back and leg pain, shortening of the Achilles tendon, and loss of joint mobility in the wearer’s knees. In particular, shoes with only a small space for the toes, can sometimes squeeze tightly enough to cause foot deformity. Additionally, heels may affect how the wearer walks by slowing and shortening their normal stride.
