The rapper was outed by an Instagram page dubbed Udakunairobi for stealing a photo of an underdog US rapper and posing it as his own.
Well, we all get tempted to fake it till we make it, but Octopizzo chose to pretend to own a Maserati, something we came to realise was just an example of stunting for the gram.
Lil Wopster, the US rapper, posted a photo of himself standing next to the expensive fuel guzzler. The catch however was he turned his face away from the camera.
Basically, any fan of Octo would immediately think the man standing next to the shiny, black car was him.
The two artistes are of the same height, build and have their hair plaited in the same manner therefore making it difficult to tell them apart.
So what did Octo do? He stole the photo, posted it on his timeline and even replied to comments branding him as an authentic rapper.
All he altered was the filtered as he carefully turned the background into an edgy black and white to make the lie more believable.
Most of his admirers and diehard fans completely bought the whole charade as they flocked his comment section to pass their congratulatory messages on Octo’s new Maserati.
