Nemanja Matic donates KSh 8.2 million towards young boy's cancer treatment

- He has however received some help from the former Chelsea star to pursue treatment in Barcelona
Manchester United star Nemanja Matic has been identified as the KSh 8.2 million (€70,000) donor to the treatment of little Dusan Todorovic.
The young man is suffering from neuroblastoma - the same cancer late Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery battled.
With the Serbia's' kind gesture, Dusan can now travel to Barcelona for proper treatment hoping to get better.
According to the Mirror, the Red Devils midfielder opted to be anonymous, but the boy's father decided to reveal the man who rendered help to his son.
The same publication also reveals that this is not the first time Matic has done something like this.
He grew up in the village of Vrelo in western Serbia, which has a population of just over 1,600 people.
The villagers describe how the much-loved figure even settles the gaming debts of his peers and also finances the construction of the village’s drinking fountain in front of the local church.
TUKO.co.ke previously reported that Man United boss Jose Mourinho said that Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic is the best player he has worked with in his career.
Nemanja Matic completed a mega move to Manchester United from champions Chelsea, and the Serbian international has been superb for the Red Devils this season.
Jose Mourinho who has worked at Chelsea, FC Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid has now named Matic as as the best player to have played under him.
