After the promulgation of the 2010 constitution, for easy administration. Each county is grouped according to the former province which they are part of. All the counties in Kenya are led by a governor and a deputy governor. They form a county government together with the MCAs. Kenya county codes are numbered from 1 to 47.

The forty seven counties have specific codes right from the first one to the last one. The coding was put in terms of numbers running straight from county 001 up to county 047. The governor here is Mr. Hassan Ali Joho. They brag a possession of one of the two ports in Kenya. This is the second county which is also situated in the former Coast region. Their population as of the last census held in 2009 lied at 649,931. The capital of this county is Kwale. It has an area of 8270.3 square kilometers. The governor of this county is Salim Mvuria. It is also famous since it is a tourist attraction site.
This is the third county by numeric and it is also located in the former Coast region. Its among the list of Kenyan counties. It has a population of 1,109,735 as of the most recent census which was held in the year 2009. Its capital is Kilifi and it has an area of 12,245.9 square kilometers. The governor in charge of this county is Amason Kingi. It has some of the most breath taking tourist sites like the Diani Beach where the sunrise can be beautifully captured.
