Governor Sonko promotes all acting county staff

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has directed the County Public Service Board to promote all county staff who have been on acting capacity for over five years.

In a statement to newsrooms on Thursday evening, Governor Sonko stated that he was “shocked to learn that most of the county staff have been on acting capacity and they have never been promoted since inception.”

“Nevertheless, the governor has issued an executive order of all acting county staff in different sectors to be confirmed and promoted forthwith,” adds the later from Govern’s Sonko’s Presss Service Director Elkana Jacob.
