After 20 years of winning the World Cup in front of their fans, France 1998 squad reunited again on Tuesday night, June 12, and they defeated Arsene Wenger's All Star side 3-2.
Zinedine Zidane who captained the French team in 1998 was on target on Tuesday, June 12, scoring a goal, while Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was also on target for the hosts.
Most of the victorious French squad were in attendance, though the current boss Didier Deschamps was excused as he leads the charge for glory in this summer's World Cup in Russia.
It was a memorable night as Jamaican sprint king Usain Bolt was also invited to play for the All Star XI in Nanterre.
African football legend Samuel Eto'o also played for the Fifa 98, but failed to help the team as they lost 3-2.
Meanwhile, France are in Group C for the 2018 Fifa World Cup where they will face Australia, Denmark and Peru for a place in the knock out stages.
France will meet Australia on Saturday, June 16, in their first game in the tournament.
