Croatia's first female president Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic has outdone heads-of-states in attendance at the world Cup 2018 with her unwavering passion for her national football team.
The 50-year-old impressed football fans across the globe with her wild celebrations and loyalty to Croatia throughout the mundial.
The President wowed fans by first flying economy class and joining fellow Croatian fans on a scheduled flight ahead of their round of 16 match against Denmark.
And she didnt stop there, Grabar-Kitarovic, donned in her Croatia t-shirt cheered her team on not from the comfort of the luxury VIP stadium suite but from the crowd filled stands.
Unlike many of her VIP compatriots dressed smart and elegant, she opted for a Croatia jersey which also locked her out of accessing the presidential zone.
Following the victory of Croatia against Russia in the quarter finals, she headed off to the locker room and embraced the sweaty players with hugs joining in the celebrations.
It is without question that she has definitely stood out as an exemplary figure when it comes to true support and love of the beautiful game.
