Good deeds do not go unnoticed and one Daniel Mwaura can attest to that.
In what many term a rare turn of events, the young tout returned Ksh 30,000 that had been dropped in his matatu by a commuter.
His kind and shocking gesture left Kenyans in awe and adoration for the conductor who has since been rewarded for his honest actions.
Upon hearing the incident, actress Catherine Kamau appealed to her fans through her social media to get her in touch with Daniel for a surprise she had in store.
Together with well-wishers and friends the actress threw a baby shower for Daniel’s expectant wife where they received baby items including a baby cot, feeding bottles and other supplies.
Others who have also come to help him include comedian Churchill who has offered to pay his school fees after he dropped out in 2011 from Kenya Polytechnic where he was studying IT.
The chairman of Communication Authority gave him a cash reward of Ksh 30,000 and has so far received over Ksh 150,000 from well-wishers who appreciated his gesture.
His wife Lucy who is due on June will deliver for free at the Nairobi hospital where she has started her pre-natal sessions.
