Can You Have Sex With A Yeast Infection? Read This! - ZUMI

If you have a yeast infection, try to avoid having vaginal sex, receiving oral sex, or putting anything in your vagina until your infection goes away.
Friction from sex can create more irritation or make the infection more difficult to heal. Also, some medicines used to treat yeast infections contain oil, which can cause a condom to break. Yeast infections generally are not contagious.
Yeast infections cause vulvar swelling and redness, vaginal itching, painful urination and sex, and a white, clumpy, odourless vaginal discharge. When the vulva is affected, you may have little or no discharge and tiny “cuts” around the clitoris, vaginal opening or vulva.
If you suspect you have a yeast infection consult your doctor and they will prescribe the appropriate medication. Don’t have sex until it clears out.
